Sesame Street

Sesame Street, an educational television show intended for ages 3-5, just had its 44th anniversary in November. Sesame Street has been around since 1969, and I remember watching it when I was a kid during the 90’s. With Big bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Bert, and of course my favorite, Ernie, how couldn’t someone like the TV show? I honestly don’t remember much about the show besides character names and the setting, but what I do remember and know is that I have about 5 Ernie dolls. One of them falls asleep and snores and it used to turn on when I was sleeping at night, which was quite frightening..

Anyway.. I found a Buzzfeed (I love them) on Sesame Street and some facts we might not have known about the show. After reading some of the facts, I was pretty surprised and then began remembering some of the show. So, if you used to watch Sesame Street when you were a kid, read the Buzzfeed!

P.S. We talked about Sesame Street briefly in class and how it was an educational television show, I swear this isn’t just a random post on Sesame Street lol.
