As a gentleman of the modern world, it is my obligation to keep up with all of the chivalrous entitlements that role expects. After scrolling through GQ.com for some suave tips to stay in tune with the world of class, I stumbled upon a list of books to read.
If you scroll through this list, there are some interesting books being written, which is a breath of fresh air in a world of stale music and movies constantly coming out trying to suck the money out of our wallets. Some of the authors are actually surprising; i.e. B.J. Novak of The Office fame has written a compilation of short stories titled One More Thing
which looks like a great read. Also, Matthew Quick, author of Silver Linings Playbook, has come up with a book titled The Good Luck of Right Now, and it looks like a book I am actually going to buy, which is rare for me to buy a contemporary book, I typically try and read well known, sure thing, classics.
As a book worm, I am excited to check out these new titles, which are all fiction by the way, in a world dominated by nonfiction books capitalizing on the short attention span of the public and capturing the now, rather than creating a new world for us to immerse into, offering an escape from the world to live out a new story.
